Bend Oregon Fights Breast Cancer with Style!
Sara's Project needs you!

On Thursday, September 15th 2011 we celebrated the triumphs and loses of those who have been dealt the terrible disease of Breast Cancer. Kegger for the Cure, the sequel to last year's Pink Ribbon Affair, was a Party for a Cause.

The party was held at GoodLife Brewing's Biergarten in Century Center in Bend and featured live music by Rock-Reggae-Indie Pop artist Franchot Tone. Admission was FREE and Beer and Food sales helped to raise money for our Cause: Sara's Project.

Sara's Project is Bend's local Breast Cancer charity, based at St Charles Medical Center. They do great work and need our support, as do all those stricken by this terrible disease.

"My Mom beat cancer over 7 years ago. To see her fight through it helped me realize there is nothing in my way except me in this life. We make choices. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we fight. I love her so much and am extremely excited to have her still here and able to join us at the 2nd annual Pink Ribbon Affair, which we call "Kegger for the Cure." Thank you to everyone who helped make this very special event a huge success!"
